SOLOMON HUGHES uncovers government documents showing hidden dinners and meetings between Labour figures and disgraced Peter Mandelson’s lobbying firm, which collapsed after links to Epstein and sleazy influence operations came to light
Be sure to get your orders in for the Together Alliance demo on March 28, says circulation manager BERNADETTE KEAVENEY
I’M WRITING this from the TUC women’s conference in Bournemouth, where this morning we finished our final distribution of the paper to delegates and visitors.
It made a lovely change to have done this with the sun shining on Wednesday and Thursday and even though chillier on Friday, no rain.
Did you notice the “we” above? Two lovely volunteers, Judith and Lawrence, assisted with the distribution — and what a difference it made.
Wherever and whenever conferences, rallies and protests take place there is an expectation that the paper will be there.
Sadly, the paper does not have the staffing resources to attend or organise for all these events and we rely on our Readers and Supporters Groups and friends and comrades in other organisations across the movement to reach out to us and order papers.
This week we have taken many orders for today’s edition which will be taken along to International Women’s Day events. Thank you to everyone that got in touch with us.
Meanwhile we will soon be organising to get papers onto transport coming to the Together Alliance demonstration on March 28. Transport details can be found by following this link: tinyurl.com/TogetherPlanJourney.
Please if you are travelling on coaches or trains order copies of the paper in plenty of time. We expect to have a high take-up for this, so the earlier the order is placed the easier it is to fulfil.
All orders should be made direct to circulation@peoples-press.com with the following details: name, address of delivery, mobile number, quantity of papers (multiples of 25), and the latest delivery time on Saturday March 28.
Thank you to all our supporters out this weekend with the paper and don’t forget we love to hear how distribution and sales have gone, so do drop me a line with feedback.
