Ceasefire held between Armenia and Azerbaijan after renewed fighting kills 176

A DELICATE ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan was held today following two days of renewed fighting that killed more than 170 people.

Armenian Security Council secretary Armen Grigoryan said that the truce was reached thanks to international mediation efforts on Wednesday night.

The country’s Defence Ministry said the situation on the border remained quiet and no violations had been reported.
