‘Significant’ victory for brave security guards

SECURITY guards at the Palace of Westminster called off strike action last night after last-ditch talks resolved their industrial dispute.

Members of the PCS union will now suspend planned industrial action following the successful talks.

The workers had complained of a failure of the House of Commons Commission to properly resolve a series of disputes as well as poor communication with the union.
