NAZANIN ZAGHARI-RATCLIFFE appeared in an Iranian court today on a second set of charges, a week after her five-year sentence came to an end.

The British-Iranian national must wait one week to receive the Tehran court’s verdict on the charges of propaganda against the government, according to her lawyer Hojjat Kermani.

Mr Kermani said that during the hearing, Ms Zaghari-Ratcliffe was accused of attending a demonstration outside the Iranian embassy in London 12 years ago.
