Transport union RMT welcomed Westminster MPs’ decision yesterday to launch a swift probe of the City Link collapse.

RMT general secretary Mick Cash said it was right the “scandal,” which saw more than 2,000 workers lose their jobs on Christmas Day as the delivery firm went bust, should be investigated.

“All of the key players should be called to account for their actions,” he said.
