Women's Football: City determined to keep League Cup in Glasgow

Glasgow City captain Leanne Ross said yesterday that her side are fully focused on retaining the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup when they face Hibernian tonight.

In a repeat of last year’s 4-0 victory, Glasgow — league champions for eight seasons running — are firm favourites to lift the trophy for the fourth year on the trot.

Glasgow enter the tie on the back of a tremendous 6-1 victory over Hearts on Sunday to remain top of the league on goal difference, with Hibs in second place. The league and cup holders are full of confidence, with Ross ready to take the game to her opponents.
