Foxes tell Simpson that he will not be selected during case

Leicester City defender Danny Simpson was told yesterday that he will not play again for the club while they look at the ongoing assault case.
Simpson was found guilty on Wednesday for assaulting his ex-girlfriend and could face time in jail.

A club statement read: “He’ll not be considered for first-team duties while the club examines legal proceedings.

“Due to the ongoing nature of the legal process, the club will be making no further comment on the matter.”
