VENEZUELA’S Supreme Court has reversed a decision for it to take on the duties of the National Assembly, which has been sitting unconstitutionally for over a year.
The decision was taken on Saturday after the National Defence Council requested it reconsider its Wednesday ruling.
Socialist President Nicolas Maduro had summoned the council as the “controversy … must be resolved through dialogue, not by giving arguments to those who want to intervene in Venezuela.”
