Rangers defender brutally attacks youngster

RANGERS defender Bilel Moshni is facing a lengthy ban after physically assaulting Motherwell defender Lee Erwin yesterday.

The Gers were heavily defeated 3-0, 6-1 on aggregate, with strikes from Marvin Johnson and Lionel Ainsworth — both of which deflected off Rangers defender Marius Zaliukas — and a late John Sutton penalty ensured the hosts’ 30-year run in the top-flight continues.

Rangers will spend another season waiting for a return to the Scottish Premiership but possibly without Moshni after his cowardly antics after the final whistle.
