MEN’S FOOTBALL: Palestine make their first ever appearance in the Asian Cup knockout stages when they face hosts and defending champions Qatar for a place in the quarter-finals at Al Khor’s Al Bayt Stadium on Monday.

Qatar have won their last ten Asian Cup games and are ranked 58th in the world, with the Palestinians currently back in 99th. Monday afternoon’s other game sees high-scoring Iraq up against Jordan.

MEN’S CRICKET: Paceman Shamar Joseph took 7-68 as the West Indies dismissed Australia for 207 in Brisbane to win the second test by just eight runs.
