Koreas agree date for denuclearisation summit
A South Korean news channel reports on upcoming meeting between the two Korea's next month

THE much-touted summit between the leaders of North and South Korea will take place on April 27, Seoul announced today.

Kim Jong Un will meet Moon Jae In at the border village of Panmunjom to discuss the “denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula, the stabilisation of peace and the development of relations between the North and South,” South Korean Unification Minister Cho Myoung Gyon said.

North Korean Committee for Peaceful Reunification chairman Ri Song Gwon agreed that the talks provide “immense expectations and new hope for the entire nation that desires peace on the Korean peninsula.”
