Lawyer and attempted murderer struck off
Ian Farrimond attempted to kill his wife while she slept in 2016
FORMER prosecutor Iain Farrimond, who tried to kill his wife, was struck off at the High Court yesterday.
Mr Farrimond was jailed for six years for attempted murder in September 2016 after he stabbed his wife as she slept before trying to kill himself.
Nottingham Crown Court heard Mr Farrimond had been suffering from depression brought on by the pressures of his work for the Crown Prosecution Service.
