Schefller has topped the world rankings for the past 147 weeks. Oban-born MacIntyre finished second in the recent US Open, two shots behind JJ Spaun, who partners Tommy Fleetwood and Connor Syme in the first round.
MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Stand-in full-back Josh Rourke has agreed a two-year contract extension with Wakefield Trinity on the eve of their trip to Hull FC in the Super League tomorrow evening.
Trinity currently sit sixth in the table, one point and one place better off than Hull, who are yet to win at home this season.
Super League table-toppers Hull KR are not in action until Saturday when they travel to Leigh.

After winning the two-match Test series 1-0 the Sri Lankans wrapped up the one-day series with a 99 run victory on Tuesday that sealed their 2-1 win.
Bangladesh are ranked as the world’s tenth best Twenty20 team, three places below Sri Lanka, and lost their recent series with Pakistan 3-0.
WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: With two-time European Champions Norway already assured of their spot in the quarter-finals before tomorrow evening’s match with eliminated Iceland, hosts Switzerland will battle it out with Finland to make it out of the group stages.
A draw will be enough for Swiss to qualify for the last eight where they will likely face tournament favourites and runaway top-scorers Spain.
