INDIA: Three suspected militants were killed in a gunfight with Indian forces in Kashmir’s Shopian district today, according to Indian authorities, the first such clash since last month’s massacre of 26 tourists. 

India blames Pakistan for the attack, which Islamabad denies. Both countries had agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday after deadly cross-border strikes left over 50 dead, according to the Pakistani military’s figures, including civilians and soldiers.
