Headteacher faces prison after attacking his deputy at their secondary school

A HEADTEACHER is facing prison after pleading guilty to attacking his deputy at their secondary school in south Wales.

Anthony John Felton, 54, admitted attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent to Richard Pyke, 51, during a hearing at Swansea Crown Court today.

Police were called to St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Comprehensive School in Aberavon on March 5, where Mr Felton had been appointed headteacher in September 2023.
