Protesters gather outside farm after footage showed animal abuse

PROTESTERS gathered outside Lowfields Farm in Northallerton on Saturday after undercover footage showed workers kicking and striking cows.
The investigation by the Animal Justice Project (AJP) also showed newborn calves being separated from their mothers.
Dairy company Arla has since suspended the farm’s milk contract.
