CAMPAIGNERS will gather in an online rally on Wednesday night to demand action to restore democracy in Turkey with key figures from Britain’s labour movement.
Speakers will include former Labour leader and Peace and Justice Project’s Jeremy Corbyn, Baroness Christine Blower, National Education Union’s Louise Regan and MPs and trade unionists from Turkey and Germany.
Last month, Turkish authorities seized hundreds of politicians, trade union leaders, campaigners, artists and journalists in a mass crackdown on opposition voices.
