WE’RE at the business end of the Six Nations with just two rounds left and two undefeated teams in England and Wales, who can still win the championship.
But how does the rather stodgy fare on offer during our winter season compare with the dashing play of the Rugby World Cup (RWC) played during the balmy autumnal warmth?
Rather poorly, if truth be told, with some dire games like the recent Welsh victory over France driving those punters thrilled by the RWC away from our northern hemisphere fare of plodding attack and supposed cast iron defences.
