Six Nations: Wales 27-23 Scotland
by David Nicholson at the Millennium Stadium
WALES took the honours on Saturday against a Scottish side that fought bravely in a scrappy match that fitfully burst into life with well-taken tries by George North for the home side and Tommy Seymour for the visitors.
Wales had wanted the roof of the Millennium Stadium closed and Vern Cotter for some strange reason had agreed.
But with both sides making handling errors — dropping the ball in contact and knocking-on — the match might just as well have been played in the February dank of a wet Cardiff evening.
