The 33 (12A)
Directed by Patricia Riggen
3/5

DIRECTOR Patricia Riggen’s heart is undoubtedly in the right place in creating this visually effective reconstruction of the increasingly desperate race against time to rescue 33 miners trapped underground in a collapsed mine in Chile.

But reconstructing the 2010 disaster, covered in real life and real time on television, unavoidably creates a major dramatic problem in a feature film.
