Cardiff win puts Irish on course for victory
Wales 7-12 Ireland

Ireland Women stayed on course for a second Six Nations grand slam by edging out Wales 12-7 in Cardiff.

Lindsay Peat and Hannah Tyrell claimed the tries that leave Tom Tierney’s side needing just victory over England on Friday night to seal a clean sweep.

Peat was sin-binned after her try in a blow that let Wales back into the game, with the hosts scoring through Shona Powell-Hughes.
