Georgia urge Six Nations reform ahead of Wales Test
Wales v Georgia, KO 2.30pm, live on BBC1 Wales & S4C

MILTON HAIG said yesterday that he wants his Georgia team to step out of “no man’s land” today and lay down a Six Nations marker.

Since the last men’s World Cup two years ago, the tier-two Lelos have beaten Samoa, Fiji, Tonga and Canada twice, are currently ranked 12th in the world and now tackle Wales at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium for the first time.

But with Six Nations status still only a dream and the current European Nations Cup tournament one that Georgia have dominated through winning six of the last seven titles, they effectively have nowhere to go in terms of making a natural progression.
