SNP council forced to reverse cuts after blowing thousands on Loch Lomond jolly

AN SNP council voted down an attempt to reverse cuts to park-keeping today — after splashing out £2,250 on a speed-boating jolly on Loch Lomond.

Trade unionists and anti-cuts campaigners gathered outside West Dunbartonshire Council’s headquarters on Tuesday.

The council was forced into a humiliating U-turn in April over its plans to cut facility time for staff union reps.
