Anger over Scotland's nuke trains

HIGHLAND residents have demonstrated against trains carrying radioactive waste through Scotland’s most spectacular scenery.

The Highlands Against Nuclear Transport (Hant) and Cromarty Peace Group (CPG) joined forces on Sunday to object to nuclear trains from Dounreay in Caithness to Sellafield in Cumbria.

The groups demonstrated at Inverness railway station, urging passengers to sign postcards to send to the Westminster government registering opposition to the movements.
