Manchester's opinion on Robinson is... err... blunt

A CANADIAN far-right activist has had a tough time in Manchester after local people she asked about Tommy Robinson repeatedly labelled him a “c**t.”

Jessica Swietoniowski, an activist with Rebel Media, is currently in Manchester covering the EU election campaign of Mr Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.

After asking to a young woman wearing a 21st birthday tiara if she knew Mr Yaxley-Lennon was standing in the elections, the woman responded: “Yeah he’s a c**t.”

When asked why, she responded: “You know why, or else you wouldn’t be asking.

“He’s racist, he’s Islamophobic, and he’s a c**t.”

She then winked at the interviewer before walking away.

When asked the same question, a male passer-by simply replied: “C**t”, adding: “He deserves to have milkshake thrown all over him.”

The Ontario-based Ms Swietoniowski, who is a staunch supporter of Mr Yaxley-Lennon, attempted to save face by suggesting on Twitter: “Maybe the word ‘c**t’ is less offensive here than it is back home?”
