Red salute to Neil Findlay as MSP steps down from front bench

SCOTTISH Labour leftwingers gave a “red salute” to Neil Findlay as he announced his resignation from the party’s front bench and that he would be standing down from Holyrood in 2021.

The Lothian MSP said that he had been considering his position as the party’s Brexit spokesperson and business manager for six months.

Following discussions with his family and friends, he decided in March that he would leave.
