Corbyn: ‘Invisible hand of the market’ won't address climate catastrophe

JEREMY CORBYN has warned that the “invisible hand of the market” will not save the planet and is urging more local authorities to declare a climate emergency.
The Labour leader will be visiting Cheshire East Council tomorrow, which has been led by Labour since the Conservatives lost 19 seats in the May elections.
In response to Labour’s successful bid in Parliament to declare a climate emergency, the council followed suit. It aims to become a carbon-neutral local authority by 2025.
