XR broadcasts 'alternative shipping forecast' warning of climate chaos outside Labour conference

HUNDREDS of Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists have wheeled a mock lighthouse ship, the size of a double-decker bus, towards the Labour Party conference on Brighton seafront.

“Sound the alarm our house is on fire,” the ship broadcast as Labour delegates and activists arrived yesterday morning.

Playing an “alternative shipping forecast,” it warned: “Attention all areas, global heating predicted. Happening now. Increasing exponentially later. Business as usual moving slowly. Situation critical. Deepening. Crisis imminent.”
