VAR leaves Frank fuming as Manchester United leave the bridge with three points

ON AN evening dominated by decisions by the video assistant referee, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United strengthened their claims for a finish in one of the Premier League’s all-important top four spots with this victory at Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s men slumped to their 10th defeat of the season as goals from Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire, the latter who shouldn’t even have been on the pitch, saw the visitors take all three points.

"We keep another clean sheet, that's four on the bounce,” said the Manchester United manager. “We were a bit leggy, sometimes it takes time to blow the cobwebs out. First half we looked cumbersome but well, it's a result.”
