Fans demand owners quit West Ham during narrow defeat to Liverpool

WEST HAM UNITED fans protested against their club’s owners as their team put up a fight against runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool on Monday night.

A collection of banners filled the away end as supporters aired their views on owners David Sullivan and David Gold, and vice-chairwoman Karren Brady.

“Run like a circus, owned by clowns,” read one, with another saying “sold a dream, delivered a nightmare.”
