Sturgeon defends government's health and the environment record
NICOLA STURGEON has defended the Scottish government’s record on health and the environment as opposition leaders put pressure on ministers to take action on the Covid-19 recovery.
The SNP leader told MSPs during First Minister’s Questions today that her administration is, one year on from the first Covid death in Scotland, working to rebuild after the pandemic.
Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar questioned the government’s record on health, pointing to the tens of thousands of Scots waiting more than six weeks for diagnostic cancer tests.
