The New Saints extended their lead in the Cymru Premier to a staggering 21 points after they’d seen off bottom club Cefn Druids 4-1 and second-placed Penybont could only draw 0-0 at Barry.
Newtown in third also drew 1-1 with Cardiff Met. Bala needed a late Will Evans equaliser to draw 3-3 at Caernarfon, Connah’s Quay beat Flint 2-0 and Aberystwyth drew 0-0 at Haverfordwest.
WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL:
Loughborough Lightning are the only unbeaten team in the Women’s Premier League after they won 61-50 at East London Phoenix to claim top spot.
Robyn Love top scored with 22 points for the Lightning, but was overshadowed by Amy Conroy’s amazing 31-point haul for the losing team.
Cardiff Met Archers beat the Worcester Wolves 55-29 for their first win of the season.

Bromley needed penalties to see off Tonbridge, Stockport edged out Cheshunt 1-0, Notts County won 2-1 at Halifax and York came from two down to beat Morpeth 3-2.
Wrexham thumped FA Cup giantkillers Boreham Wood 3-0, Dagenham beat Spennymoor 2-0 and Solihull won 1-0 at Stourbridge.
NETBALL:
Manchester Thunder top the Superleague on points difference and maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 76-68 win over Surrey Storm.
Saracens are second after edging out London Pulse 53-51 and Loughborough overwhelmed bottom of the table Celtic Dragons 65-37 to move third.
Wasps beat the Severn Stars 54-45 and Leeds Rhinos, who meet Team Bath this evening, enjoyed a narrow 45-43 win at Strathclyde on Friday.
