Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe lawyers hopeful of her return after Iranian authorities hand back her passport

LAWYERS for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe said today that they are hopeful she will return to Britain soon after her British passport was returned to her by Iranian authorities.

The 43-year-old was arrested in Iran in 2016 on accusations of plotting to overthrow the country’s government.

Hampstead and Kilburn Labour MP Tulip Siddiq revealed today that her passport had been released and that a British negotiating team was in Tehran.
