TEACHERS across Wales, the south of England and London are set to strike tomorrow as the National Education Union (NEU) continues regional actions in a long-running national dispute over pay.

The campaign saw NEU members in the Midlands and the east of England walk out today, following strikes across the north of England on Tuesday.

The majority of primaries and secondaries in the affected regions will either “restrict access to pupils or fully close” during the industrial action, warned the union, which has rejected calls from Education Secretary Gillian Keegan to cancel the strikes.
