Second council accuses Tory MP Nadine Dorries of ‘abandoning’ her constituents

ANOTHER council urged beleaguered Tory MP Nadine Dorries to resign her seat today, accusing the former culture secretary of abandoning her constituents.

In a letter to the Mid Bedfordshire MP, Shefford Town Council said Ms Dorries has “scant interest” in the local area.

The damning intervention came after Flitwick Town Council also urged the ex-frontbencher to stand down last month.
