Middlesex are currently bottom of the Southern section having only sealed their first victory of the season on Sunday with a four-wicket win over Kent while Somerset eased past Hampshire by 63 runs.

WOMEN’S RUGBY UNION: Hooker Lark Atkin-Davies scored a hat-trick of tries as Bristol came from behind to win 29-21 at Saracens on Sunday and sealed their first ever place in a Premiership Grand Final. They will be up against reigning champions Gloucester-Hartpury in a fortnight’s time after they thumped last year’s runners-up Exeter 50-19 to remain in reach of completing their second successive double after wrapping up the league title in May.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: The latest round of Africa’s World Cup qualifiers conclude tomorrow with South Sudan taking on Sudan for the first time since 2015 and only their third ever meeting. The match will be the first at South Sudan’s newly renovated Juba stadium. Sudan are unbeaten in three games and will move ahead of group B leaders Senegal with a win while their southern neighbours have yet to register a victory in the campaign.
