PSC Cymru pen open letter calling on new Wales FM to support Palestine
Palestinians look at the destruction after an Israeli airstrike on a crowded tent camp housing Palestinians displaced by the war in Muwasi, Gaza Strip, September 10, 2024

PALESTINE supporters have called on the new leader of the Welsh government to take action in support of the people of Gaza and the West Bank.

In an open letter, Palestine Solidarity Campaign Wales secretary Betty Hunter urged the new First Minister Eluned Morgan to ensure council pension funds are not invested in companies supplying Israel to arms.

The letter also urged the Welsh government to follow the example of the Scottish government, which has donated £750,000 to support agencies working in Palestine.
