MEN’S FOOTBALL:

Tom Vincent’s late strike earned Cardiff Met a 1-1 draw against Cymru Premier league leaders Penybont, while The New Saints thumped Flint United 5-0 to move within nine points of the top with three games in hand.

Aberystwyth climbed off the bottom with a 4-1 win at Caernarfon, new basement-dwellers Briton Ferry lost 2-1 to Haverfordwest, Bala drew 0-0 with Connah’s Quay and Barry Town won 4-2 in Newtown.
