Campaigners congratulate Japanese atomic bomb survivor group on Nobel prize

THE Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) has congratulated the Japanese atomic bomb survivor group Nihon Hidankyo for its Nobel Peace Prize.
The group, made up of survivors of the 1945 atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the United States, was presented with an award yesterday.
CND said the grassroots organisation “has worked tirelessly for decades to promote peace, dialogue, and further the cause of nuclear disarmament.”
