DARTS: Gerwyn Price beat Nathan Aspinall 6-3 in Thursday night’s final in Dublin to win the third round of the Premier League. Price saw off reigning World Champion Luke Littler in the first round before defeating world number one Luke Humphries in the semis. Humphries still tops the table, three points ahead of Price with Michael van Gerwen third, one point ahead of Littler. Exeter hosts the fourth leg next Thursday.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Super League leaders Oaklands Wolves face the only team to have beaten them this season when they travel to East Kilbride on Sunday afternoon to play Caledonia, who edged the Wolves 61-59 in January’s Betty Codona Trophy final. Second-placed Sheffield are at Nottingham on Saturday when Cardiff Met are up against Manchester, Essex take on Leicester and winless bottom club London play the Durham Palatinates.

MEN’S BOXING: Martin Bakole has stepped in at just two days’ notice to face Joseph Parker this evening after IBF belt holder Daniel Dubois withdrew from their scheduled world championship bout due to illness. 33-year-old Bakole, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, beat Jared Anderson in August to claim the WBO international title. Artur Beterbiev’s rematch with Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed light-heavyweight title tops tonight’s bill in Saudi Arabia.
