SOUTH AFRICA: A woman’s body was found today in an area east of Johannesburg where the discovery of several other victims in the past two months has sparked fears of a potential serial killer at large.

NETHERLANDS: A major power cut hit parts of the railway system early today and the company that maintains the infrastructure said it was treating the cause as possible sabotage.

“Materials deliberately placed on the tracks have been found at several locations. This is causing track-circuit failures. It appears to be a case of sabotage,” Prorail said in a statement.

ISRAEL: Culture Minister Miki Zohar has called for Oscar-winning Israeli film directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, whose new documentary Naza accuses the Israeli army of mass civilian killings in Gaza, to be stripped of their citizenship for “treason against the state.”
