HOLYROOD has “again shown up” stubborn Tory ministers in Westminster after another NHS pay offer north of the border, Unison said today.

The health union described an SNP proposal to boost wages by 8 per cent from April as “credible and serious.”

The offer, which follows last autumn’s improved proposal of about 7.5 per cent for the current financial year, stands in stark contrast to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s refusal to reopen talks on 2022-23’s below-inflation 4.75 per cent deal for England.
