WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Sam Ashby top-scored with 17 points as Oaklands Wolves produced a dominant fourth quarter to maintain their unbeaten Super League record with a 66-58 win at Caledonia while second-placed Sheffield won 80-66 in Nottingham.

Bottom club London Lions remain without a win after going down 70-79 at home to Durham, Manchester eased to a 99-55 success at Cardiff Met and Essex came from behind to edge Leicester 76-71.

WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: The Nations League resumes tomorrow evening with Northern Ireland following up their 2-0 loss in Poland with a home game against Bosnia-Herzegovina, who thumped Romania 4-0 in their tournament opener.
