MEN’S BOXING: Briton Sunny Edwards suffered a first career defeat when he was stopped in the 10th round of his World Flyweight unification title bout against Jesse Rodriguez in the early hours of Sunday morning in Arizona.
Twenty-three-year-old Rodriguez produced a superb performance, knocking down Edwards in the ninth round, to add the IBF title to his WBO belt and improved his career record to 19 wins without defeat.
