MEN’S CRICKET: Zimbabwe face Pakistan in Bulawayo on Sunday morning for the first of their three-match one-day series. Pakistan gained a 2-1 victory over Australia at the beginning of the month while Zimbabwe have not played a 50-over game since they slumped to an eight wicket defeat against Sri Lanka back in January. Pakistan are currently ranked as the world’s 3rd best one-day team, 10 places above Zimbabwe.

MEN’S BASKETBALL: Britain came from 17 points down to edge out previously unbeaten Greece 73-72 in their EuroBasket qualifier at London’s Copper Box Arena on Thursday night. Gabriel Olaseni, who plays for Turkish club Mersin MSK, top scored for the Brits with 16 points and Quinn Ellis weighed in with 15. The Greeks will again be without NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo for the return match in Piraeus on Sunday.

WHEELCHAIR RUGBY LEAGUE: Wigan’s Jack Heggie scored three tries and eight conversions on his first international appearance in 10 years as England beat Spain 58-28 in Nantes on Thursday. England next face France in St Lo on Saturday, just four weeks after they stuffed them 66-33 in Wigan. France warmed up with a comfortable 62-20 victory over Ireland. England are the world’s top-ranked team with France second, Ireland fourth and Spain eighth.
