MEN’S FOOTBALL: Cup holders Gateshead face Boston as all 16 FA Trophy fourth round ties kick off at 3pm on Saturday.

The pick of tomorrow’s matches see three-time winners Woking host Radcliffe, National League leaders York at Gainsborough Trinity and 1986’s champions Altrincham up against Barnet.

Other fixtures include Chertsey Town at Aldershot, Rochdale playing the Northern Premier League’s Stockton Town and Sittingbourne hosting Salisbury.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Super League action resumes this weekend with a clash between the bottom two on Saturday as defending champions London, who are yet to win this season, take on a Cardiff Met team that sit two points above them.

Second-placed Sheffield Hatters welcome Newcastle to the Park Community Arena on Saturday evening, before unbeaten table-toppers Oaklands Wolves are at Nottingham on Sunday and Caledonia Gladiators take on the Essex Rebels.

MEN’S CRICKET: New Zealand begin a three match one-day series against Sri Lanka at the Basin Reserve in Wellington on Saturday night.

The Sri Lankans won the dead rubber of their Twenty20 series by seven runs on Thursday after Kusal Perera hit 13 fours and 4 sixes in a rapid 101 and Charith Asalanka took 3-50.

The Kiwis are currently ranked as the world’s fifth best 50 over team, one place above Sri Lanka.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: With Highland League leaders Brechin City not in action this weekend, Brora Rangers can move top of the pile with a win at Keith this afternoon.

Third-placed Banks O’Dee take on Fraserburgh, who are enjoying an eight match unbeaten run, while Lossiemouth look to end their eight match losing habit against Forres Mechanics.

Reigning champions Buckie Thistle face Deveronvale and bottom of the table Strathspey Thistle visit Formartine.
