MEN’S CYCLING: The route for tomorrow’s Queen stage in the Paris-Nice “race to the sun” has been dramatically modified due to low temperatures and heavy snow in the Alpes-Maritimes region. The peloton will detour to finish on the summit of the Madone d’Utelle after 15 kilometres of climbing. On Thursday in Sisteron Olav Kooij (Team Visma — Lease a Bike) outsprinted Mads Pedersen, who leads the points classification, to win his second stage.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: The two lowest ranked teams left in the FA Trophy meet in the quarter-finals tomorrow afternoon when two-time winners Macclesfield host Coalville Town.
