MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: New South Wales centre Joseph Suaalii was sent off in the eighth minute of this year’s first State of Origin match as they slumped to a 38-10 defeat against Queensland in Sydney.
Suaalii is only the sixth player in State of Origin history to be sent off and has already received a four-game ban after his reckless high tackle had knocked out Queensland’s full back Reece Walsh.
MEN’S RUGBY UNION: The United Rugby Championship quarter-finals kick off tomorrow evening with the Ospreys travelling to Limerick to take on reigning champions Munster.
