SPEEDWAY: Denmark retained the European Pairs Speedway title in Daugavpils, Latvia on Saturday evening, finishing a point ahead of the hosts with Czechia, including King’s Lynn’s Jan Kvech, a further four points back in third.

On the undercard of undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Uysk’s 5th round stoppage win over Daniel Dubois, Lawrence Okoli scored a dominant points victory over Kevin Lerena for the WBU silver heavyweight belt.
