The defending champions have a three-point lead over France who also enjoyed a dominant nine-try 58-5 victory in Italy while Wales sit third after they held off Ireland 20-12.

England next host Italy in Bath while bottom-of-the-pile Scotland meet Wales and France visit Ireland.

Haverfordwest edged out Cardiff Met 1-0, Connah’s Quay won 2-0 at Barry Town, Flint Town beat Llansawel Briton Ferry 3-1 and Jason Oswell scored the winner as Newtown squeezed past Aberystwyth 1-0 in their bottom-of-the-table clash.
